Pressure seal self mailer systems enable far easier mail preparation for business. They relieve the demand of having to fold, stuff, seal and post each document individually, which can be a very time-consuming process demanding a lot of your company’s resources that could be used elsewhere. A pressure seal self mailer system relieves the workload by taking away all the menial tasks for you, allowing for effective time management and saved capital.

Pressure seal self mailers decrease buying, storing, and custom printing costs.

A pressure seal self mailer system will greatly decrease the costs involved in buying and storing supplies (not to mention the storage space for those supplies), plus the costs of custom printing envelopes and stationary, thus saving your company’s resources through responsible financial management. Whether the document is 11” or 14” in length with V-folds, C-folds, or Z-folds, pressure seal self mailer forms serve as their own envelopes, eliminating the need to shop for costly stationary.

A pressure seal self mailer system offers the convenience of faster mail processing.

Handling the documents to prepare them for mailing is no longer necessary, saving your company both time and money. The process of printing documents, folding documents, and stuffing envelopes has been cut in half thanks to pressure seal self mailers. After they are printed, the documents are sent directly to the pressure seal machine, which prepares them directly for mailing.

With pressure seal self mailers, postal processing is quick and easy.

Pressure seal self mailer technology allows you to print addresses directly onto the form. In addition, intelligent barcodes can be included, saving your company from many postal processing hassles.

Security and confidentiality will give you peace of mind.

A pressure seal self mailer system provides a more effective seal than a
regular envelope, and it can eliminate the chance of errors, as when two
confidential documents are accidentally inserted into the same envelope or a
document gets mismatched and inserted into the wrong envelope.

Humor Sells, No Kidding

Everyone likes to laugh once in a while… wow no kidding! Do you remember the Doritos commercial in last year’s Super Bowl where everything magically came back to life if Doritos were sprinkled on it? Or the Volkswagen commercial when the kid dressed as Darth Vader supposedly starts the car? Why do commercials stand out? The reason is it made you laugh. Humor, when used correctly, can help a company connect with its audience. Why doesn’t everyone use humor when marketing? Often, businesses are hesitant to use humor as a marketing tool because they feel it is too risky. Here are a couple of reasons why using humor can help your company’s marketing strategy:

Grabs Attention.

Why do most consumers remember Super Bowl commercials? Usually, the commercials that get a person to laugh are the ones that are remembered. Studies have shown that professors that use humor in lectures capture an increased percentage of a student’s attention and retention. This theory can be applied with marketing as well. If you want to be remembered, make them laugh.

Humor Spreads.

The beautiful part about humor is that it is something you share with friends and family. If a person sees a funny advertisement, they want to show it to others. Why laugh by yourself when you can laugh with friends? Humor is one type of marketing that can create conversation between consumers. If used correctly humor can create a viral buzz about your business like no other marketing strategy.

Stand Out.

Not enough companies use humor while marketing. For some businesses it just doesn’t work because it’s not appropriate but for others it should be taken advantage of. It can help you stand out over competitors.

Laughter is a powerful tool because it cheers people up. When humor is controlled and appropriate it can help a business’s reputation. So what are you waiting for? When your customers are laughing, so are you – all the way to the bank.

Direct Mail Isn’t Working?

It’s a very common cry that applies to both direct mail and advertising generally these days. Sales seem to be static and not increasing, even though companies are spending more on marketing and even becoming more creative in their copy or offer.

You have read about key factors in the past regarding a successful campaign:

  • A good, highly segmented mailing database
  • Superb creative with a real WOW factor
  • A compelling, highly relevant offer

The Forth Element – Sequencing

There is a forth, often overlooked element to a successful direct mail campaign – Sequencing.
Here is a quick interesting little statistic.

Statistics show most sales take at least 5 contacts with a client or prospect.  In fact, 80% of sales are made on or after the fifth contact.  Many sales people never make it to 5. A lot of them stop trying to connect after the first or second attempt. Even worse if a client DOES buy most sales people don’t bother with any follow up communication.

So too in direct mail, and particularly with email campaigns where it takes longer to get to the order phase. Direct response mailing is there primarily to sell something – One mail-out or sales letter to a new prospect simply isn’t enough! It needs multiple efforts/visits, but in a highly planned, sequenced manner.

If you or your company would like help in your direct mail efforts contact us.
We are always happy to help.

7-Eleven Rocks Out with Branded Guitar Picks

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven was looking to get consumers to ‘walk this way’ right into its stores with its May Guitar Hero: Aerosmith promotion. To promote the debut of its Full Throttle Frozen Blast Slurpee, it partnered with Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Activision’s top-selling video game Guitar Hero.

Throughout May, consumers could enter codes listed on Slurpee cups onto Slurpee.com for chances to win the game, an Xbox 360 and other prizes. To promote the sweepstakes and new Slurpee flavor, the popular convenience store chain created a mobile tour. Media vans with 6-foot by 12-foot video screens visited select stores where consumers could play the game live.

More than 10,000 custom guitar picks printed with Full Throttle Frozen Blast on one side and Slurpee.com on the other side were handed out. “One of the top ways our core customers for Slurpee drinks, ages 13-24, like to spend their leisure time is playing video games,” says Stephanie Hoppe, senior director of marketing of 7-Eleven, Inc. “So it was natural for 7-Eleven to tie-in with the game.”

Giant tear-off pads of posters featuring Guitar Hero and the Slurpee were posted at 484 locations near schools, train stations, beaches and other locations. Coupons were also distributed through college newspapers.

The end result: more than a quarter million fans entered the sweepstakes. “We expect to do more online and guerilla marketing as we continue our ‘Summer of Slurpee,’” says Hoppe. In June, 7-Eleven offered Incredible Hulk movie Slurpee cups and miniature character straws. “Customers seem to be coming back this month,” she says, “because sales are up.”
